How to view read receipts for secure messages
I need to know if/when patients have read their secure messages. It would also be helpful to know when a specific patient last logged on to their PHR. This information is important for a number of reasons, including assessing engagement and properly discharging
Calendar in Edit Appointment

Do not allow patients to schedule appointments within 48 hours
Is there a way to ensure that a patient doesn't request an appointment for just a few hours from now? Right now it seems like someone can try to schedule an appointment the night before for our first appointment of the day. Obviously we would not be able to confirm that appointment but it is just setting the client up for disappointment. How do we ensure that the client cannot book an appointment that's less than 48 hours from now?
Increase characters available in messaging
Is there a way to increase the number of characters allowed in the messages? I don't know what the cut off is right now but it must be pretty low. Patient messages are being cut off and forcing them to send 2 or 3 messages. Please increase the allowed number of characters. This would make it much easier to track. Especially when the Charm messaging format is already so hard to follow. Thanks

Documents not showing up
A new problem is happening. Patients are letting me know that they've uploaded Documents or Labs to those tabs in their portal, but those documents are not visible on my end. I have never had a problem with this in the past, but in the past few weeks it is happening with pretty much every patient. Did something get changed on the back end such that patients have to manually "Share" the documents that they upload? Greg
Can customers add credit cards via Patient Portal
If we use Bluefin and store patient credit cards, is there a way for a new patient to set up their patient portal and add the credit card they'd like to use? I don't see any option for that currently. Right now it has to be done on the backend.
Remove provider from "Appointment Request"
We have doctors in the practice that we do not want to show up in a patients PHR under appointment request. I have been through every aspect of both the administrators and provider settings and cannot find how to do this. The only way that is successful is to change the provider from Physician or Physicians Assistant over to OfficeManager or Nurse. Please let me know how to do this - it's amazingly confusing to patients.

New PHR Question
Looking to see if I can remove administrative employees from the "Providers" view. I'd rather my whole team not show in this view as it can lead to some confusion for patients to see the MDs under the heading of "Providers" when they are actually nonclinical / administrative in their capacity within this organization. PHR Invitation sending invalid link
My patients are getting an "invalid url" message when they click the link in the PHR invitation and also if they cut/paste into their browser. I tried it with a dummy patient myself and the same thing happened. How can I fix this? Thanks Ana

Hello, I am building a bridge between my patient management software and CDR DICOM using Visual Basic Script. So far, it is going well. I have scripts set up to launch DICOM with the correct patient and scripts to change the first name, last name, and patient ID. The next step is to merge 2 existing CDR DICOM patients together. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the SDK can do this. Can someone verify this for me? Assuming the SDK can't handle this, is there any work arounds or do I need to have

Error in visit summary
Hello, As all my patient log in to their PHR, the visit summary shows up as codes and its unreadable. I have attached an screenshot to show what's going on. When I log in to my EHR account I see things perfectly fine, but it didn't work on the PHR part. Please help!

Hi, We're not using charm for scheduling, but I seem to be unable to remove the request appointment or calendar tiles from the patient portal. A few times it has happened that the email account the patient used to create their portal access closes down. I need to let them create a new portal, but I don't see any way of deleting the old portal info within ChARM and sending the invitation to their new address. Any advice? Greg
Help with setting up 100% Electronic AND Remote New Patient Intake Process
I have hit a roadblock with trying to go 100% electronic & remote: There is no ability for patients to sign consent forms and medical release forms from within the new patient intake questionnaire. I know the software exists and creates a legally binding signature (e.g. DocuSign) - so I am wondering if this is something that ChARM will be including in their system at some point? I would like to create a template that is a paragraph. I write the same information for certain consultations repeatedly in the "Instructions" part of a SOAP note (that gets printed in a Patient summary) In creating a template there do not seem to be any items where I can just create a paragraph. There are CheckList, Simple Question , Yes/No etc - but these are one line and will not allow for multiple sentences. Seems there should be a WYSIWYG option where template can be just a paragraph. Any
