Change an Encounter Date before Note is Signed?
Is it possible to change an encounter date before a chart note is signed? We can't figure out how to do this, and we have practitioners who prep for an encounter the day before. They want to be able to begin their notes early, but have them reflect the actual date the patient encounter occurs. It seems the encounter date is being set based on the date the practitioner begins their note/prep, and not based on the date of the appointment. Ideally, they could change the date of the encounter up to the point that the note is signed.
