Include Message Sent to Patient When Downloading a Document
When downloading a document (test report as example), the first item listed of the download should be any message sent to the patient, by whom it was sent, and the date that it was sent and then the document.
This would create a paper trail that would be important to show a patient, attorney, or a court of law that the MD reported out the result to the patient and the result. Also the patient could download it to provide to other providers which would nicely include the MD interpretation and the testing result.
