I am starting a new practice and decided to use VoIP (voice over internet protocol) phone for the office. The service provider I chose has a program called CallScape, which enables you to see which lines are busy and who has called from you computer.

Additionally (and this is the good part), CallScape has a feature called a "Screen Pop" that will pull up a new internet browser window with the caller's phone number.

It may not be obvious to you yet why this would be really cool for ChARM users, but think about it this way - when a patient calls your clinic, the program will open your browser to the ChARM Patient Search page and search for any patients with that phone number. So cool!
