We are using telehealth and would like to use it a lot more, however, we are running into some difficulties.  Specifically, we have had several pts that we simply can't get the telehealth encounter to start with.  It seems that telehealth won't work with i-pads, even with Chrome loaded onto them, but it will work with i-phones with Chrome, no Safari.  Also, it seems to be very finicky if the pt isn't signed into their portal BEFORE the time on the calendar.  If they try to sign in after the appointed time, we can't get the encounter to start correctly if at all.  We suspect that firewalls stop it cold since we have a few pts who are unable to use it at work.  Is anyone else having these problems?  Are we doing something wrong or is there a work around?  Is there any way for a non doctor to start the encounter and hand it over so that the front desk people who are best with IT in the office can get the pt started?
